Probably 2 things , a decent binn number for the led ( quality ) and yes being driven harder , Bob off here had my last red/orange led fitted in a t20 , reds good , but the red/orange is a nice change , still got my lightforce and filters always a place for a lamp.....

Carnt comment on Clives red sun , but a cree driven at 1.4 amp , particulary in red/orange will give a fair bit of distance in a t20 , not to hard to build yourself under a tenner....

Both are 16 mm lenses , not fussed on the 12mm ones , the mount for the c/cs one was a c/cs board mount , not the screw in type , had to cut off the front of the camera housing ,file a square into the opening to fit the c/cs board mount , the just lightly file the back of the mount so it fits the ca...

Tried the 16mm c/cs lens works well , will have to give it a full field test , compare the two....

Used one similar for a few years from stock optics at the time , all i can say is they work ok , probably a slight edge over the standard 16mm supplied lens , on a moot note just knocked up a nv rig , using the e700 fitted with a 16mm c/cs lens , will hopefully compare the two later on tonight ...

Not pushed the distance , only used rifle on the roof , ipad inside the vehicle, doesnt appear to be any interference or lag , really nice picture on the i-pad only thing i havnt figured out is how to upload from wifi avin to say youtube !
