Re: Pulsar XP75 just seen on Ali

Actually taking a closer look at the pics it looks like they have removed the QR part of the Helion body and screwed on an adapter for the big lens which looks like it screws on this adapter. So no chance of a lens upgrade without the adapter and you wouldn't be able to easily swap between the two. ...

Re: Pulsar XP75 just seen on Ali

Good spot, looks like a normal XP 640 res Helion with a bigger lens mounted on. The Helion has a removable lens the Trail unfortunately does not, so if this is the same as a normal Helion, I wonder if they would sell the lens on its own...... https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/Pulsar-helion-XP75...

Re: Pulsar Trail recoil activated recording failure.

Mine works fine on my 22-2250 but often doesn't record on my 20 Tac and doesn't work at all on my 17 Hornet and air rifle, I presume the smaller calibres don't have enough recoil to trip the function.

Re: spotting soloution Archer or Pulsar Xq38s

For spotting thermal is the way forward no doubt, I have used an Archer and it doesn't compare as a spotter and you don't have to worry about burning the tube on lights either. ID can be harder with thermal but it's outright ability to show you quickly what is there cannot be matched by tube or digi...

Re: Pulsar trail Xq38

I have a Drone Pro and a Trail XQ50 and I agree with everything Bruce has said, it is definitely not a suitable alternative to a Drone, even at 150 yards a fox becomes quite a small target so you have to use the digi mag to make the image bigger to shoot it properly and then the image is shite. Howe...

Re: Roof mounted thermal spotter

Keep an eye on eBay with searches for thermal CCTV and thermal pan and tilt, you never know what will turn up, I have seen several decent systems on there over the last few years. Some are silly money and there are occasionally some bargains to be had. I bought a thermal pan and tilt system on there...

Re: New Dedicated Digital Rifle Scope Testing

Real shame it hasn't got on board recording, would have definitely been worth upgrading from a Drone Pro if it had, as it stands I am not so sure.

Otherwise looks really good though.
