Re: Anyone refinished a Laminate stock with Tru Oil or ?

watcha Phil

I did a Richards Microfit stock http://www.rifle-stocks.com/ a few years back with Tru Oil, very satisifing. It gives a pretty hard finish, you just need to keep building up the layers.

the birch wood laminate works real easy too

Re: Camera for bird box watching

watcha Andy not really up on these......but would think your best bet would be a mini portable IP camera, something like these http://bestandsecure.com/top-5-best-portable-mini-ip-cameras/ afraid you'll have to do a bit more research as to whether they are suitable for out-doors use, may have to mak...

Re: .22hornet

watcha Bruce not sure how fussy the hornet is on neck tension, but i found using a Lee factory Crimp Die really tightened up the groups on my .17 Fireball....made them more consistant and stopped that odd flier that i always seemed to get when working up loads. sure Clive can advise on this :thumbup...

Re: thermal or digi

as above....thermal every time  have been using the shoots HD38s for the last 3 years and bought a 30v about a month or so ago. the 30v will easily pick up a fox or badger at 300 yrds and wont give away your position unlike the IR from a NV spotter ;) cheers jock Is it similar to the HD38s...
