Re: Homemade nv scope 3

Yep, I've stabbed my fingers, scratched lenses, snapped of bits of the rings...they're not the greatest. The angled ones are definitely better though. You can also get (or make) a different type that is like a 'C' with a handle, and a little pin at the ends of the C, used kind of like a spanner.

Re: Homemade nv scope 3

Cheers guys, Hutty, how are you finding this scope, is it worth doing? I know you mentioned fogging of the lenses. is it a big issue? I haven't really been out with it recently, and I have dismantled some of it at the moment to check and try some things. On the occasions I've used it, it has worked...

Re: MTC Viper Connect and add on NV

I've seen a number of people who agree the viper connect doesn't perform as well as most other scopes with a nv addon - whether it's because they've seen it for themselves or they're just repeating what they've been told, I don't know. I can tell you that in my experience with the connect, it didn't...

Re: Video Signal Issue

I won't try to explain a fix as I'm not that clued up with it and I'll likely get something wrong, but do a google search for 'fpv camera noise' or similar searches - there are 2 or 3 cheap and easy ways that may sort it.

Modding modes on torch

Hi Guys For some reason my 3 mode ir pill has decided to become a 5 mode - it was initially the usual low/medium/high modes, but now it is low/medium/high/strobe/sos. I have no idea what has caused it. I used to use the pencil trick on cheap torches a few years ago to make them 1 mode instead of on/...

Re: Homemade nv scope 3

One question for you... I have few old scopes lying around but they don't have front/side parallax adjustment. Do you think this(your system) could work with them or I just forget on that? I don't think it would work 'messer. At the start of the video you'll notice the mound of grass in the foregro...
