I run an XP50 Helion and the Ward WT1 75-3 is on par but obviously much more mag on base values. My mates trail XP50 compared to my ward magnification at 1.6 is 6 then 3.2 is 12 and 6.4 is 24 in terms of clarity
After using Pvs14 and drone pro I now use Ward Wt1 75-3 which blows me away still every time I turn the unit on. Had a Pulsar xp38 waste of money. My mate has the xp50 trail I zeroed that in for him the other day not impresssed !

Sounds strange have you tried a different picatinny rail? If it’s the mount I would get it exchanged if under warranty
