Re: Pulsar 2018

Would anyone consider thermal binos? You'd just get both eyes night vision knackered, can't see how would buy them, security guards?

Re: Used xq30 lite

Vaguely thinking of selling mine too at some point, they're £1300 new. On the net, saw 4 sold at £920 , £980, £1100 and £1200. I'd probably aim for £980 if I decide to sell.

Re: Xq30/38

If you're talking about the XQ30v then it's a value budget thermal with lesser quality lens (and maybe electronics) and less features. It's good value for money and one of the cheapest usable value thermals (along with the XQ23v). But it's not as good as the XQ38f / Helion range. So be careful when ...

Re: New firmware for pulsar

I think 2.2.11 is an update from October or earlier? I was excited (as I love an upgrade) but then remembered I posted something in the Pulsar fb page a while back about this specific update.

Re: Pulsar Lite XQ30V for bunny bashing/ light foxing

I've both a XQ23V and a XQ38f, the 30v has less features and you won't see so much detail due to the cheaper lens but you will see something approx rabbit sized is there. The XQ38f has loads of really useful features (and more detail in the image) which you may yearn for tho. Best to try them out, y...

Pulsar XQ30V for sale. As new and comes with case, packaging, accessories (spare battery pack). Reason for selling is I replaced with an XQ38f due to an unexpected windfall :-)

Will sell for 950 face to face (based near Reading, Berks) or 970 posted.

Swap a Pulsar XQ30v for XQ23v / XQ19.

I've a XQ30v and a XQ38f, I'm looking for swap my XQ30v for something with a wider view. Happy to do a straight swap for a XQ23v or would consider something with a 19mm lens. Prefer to meet face to face.

Oggie.

Re: Pulsar Helion xq38f

I'd second the above from fixer, I ignored the sound advice re: buying the right kit first time, I went down a Scout TK -> Guide IR510 -> Pulsar XQ30v -> XQ38f route. It's a hobby for me so fun to play about with diff kit but def not the most cost efficient route :-) Also, there's no substitute to g...
