Re: New display

Is it possible that you actually manufacture them in UK? I mean could you import mentioned Ferroelectric Micro LCD 1280x720 directly from manufacturer( http://cfd.citizen.co.jp/english/prod-tech/product/micro_display.html ) and then use your own board and optics in your designed 3D housing? Maybe i...

Re: New display

I have been looking for a long time for great specs under £200, I have asked various companies about goggles with just 1 viewfinder, what I get back is the same price minus 1 viewfinder ......not half ( like you think ) as you still need the board and they laugh when you ask for less parts as it’s n...

Is this what you have? If so the active area is super small at 4mmx3mm. and the lighting system complicate things.
Yes that is the one, and yes the panel in front makes it harder to get the right lens for our applications!

Re: New display

[/Are you serious about putting a viewfinder of this type on a 8x57 , in the past I used to modify the Vf2c to protect against.308 as the components would not take it otherwise?quote] No, of course I am not! That is where Cinemizer takes over! 8-) Then my question is still valid

Re: New display

' You may want to think outside the box a little and spring load the viewfinder and have an eye protector rim for the recoil' That may be an option for light recoiling calibers like.222 and .223, but shooting a high power rifle like .30-06 or 8x57 , knowing that you are going to be hit by a spring ...

Re: New display

well your getting there guys and when you find a solution i will try and build a 3d housing round the correct lens, i have tried many with mixed results but none good enough to warrant taking the unit apart and making a 3d printed adapter to integrate the two, time consuming and price bump of a view...
