Re: T74&t66 ir

There is still a little bit of head wobble on a sunranger unless the head is at either end of its travel, but very little, and I managed to align it just by rotating the body in a fixed mount.

Re: PULSAR APEX XQ50 LRF

Good to hear, thanks for clearing that up. Andy Andy. It is the QD112 mount that I am referring to. I took off the standard mount in favour of the QD112 as it uses all 4 screws, as opposed to 3 in the standard, figuring that it would be more secure, It also has a longer mounting radius. The down si...

Re: PULSAR APEX XQ50 LRF

Looks like I am getting a 2" (100yds) POI shift left from starting off at room temp, then gradually moving as it gets colder out on the range. I have now mounted it onto a different rifle with the QD112 mount that has a longer mount radius and uses 4 screws into the body, so wait and see when ...

Re: PULSAR APEX XQ50 LRF

I've used three Trail models and Two Apex models and have had no POI issues at all on any of them. Some of the US users are reporting slight POI changes in extreme weather variation, but like said it can be down to many other factors also , mounting issues combined with high calibre semi-autos, etc...

Re: Ward D vision 800.

I can recommend Clive`s Ruby Sunranger. The big advantage with them is you can quickly go from flood/low mag, (which is where I always start in case charlie is in close) to Spot/high mag for long range, using the Yukon ranger, rubberised lens.

Re: led range

I can vouch for Clive`s red sun pill in a NM800, very very good.

Re: PULSAR APEX XQ50 LRF

Shame if it is and has to be moved on as it is a nice bit of kit. Excellent crisp image at its base mag of 1.6 and fantastic field of view for picking up Charlie, even at close range. Also a perfectly usable digital mag up, 3.2 looks as good as optical and near to near 200yds on 12.8.
