Nice solution. I fixed my moderator reflection problem by fitting a sun shade extension to the scope. It casts a shadow over the moderator so no reflection. I also lowered the IR source so it's closer to the scope, then moved it backwards closer to the stock, these changes also helped put a shadow ...

I am trying to sell a Swaro scope on another sight as I intend to Purchase another NV/IR compatible scope, but someone has offered a swap with a Leupold VX7, anybody know if these work with a Ward add on and IR illumination please ?

Think I will really look in to the s tac ,I use one of those figure of 8 adjustable torch mounts with the Eclipse IR ,So I figure that will clear the turrets ok I noticed on the bigger 56 mill s tac it has a battery holder towards the end ,does this interfere with add ons like demon //Archer etc . ...

Thanks for the good info so far ,I have checked out that ffp Hawke ,but it is illuminated reticle ,which is no good for tube (unless you can use it ok with out the battery in ) The Bushnell is discontined on that model ,so the S tac is looking good .Anyone know if the s tac 4- 20 x 50 sf is good wi...

I like the Hawke Endurance WA LR dot ret as it is very much like the old Mamba RIR 4A ret, with its remote central dot. It is just as good the Ward 700 for night work, but much better as a day scope, but then there is difference in price.

The Sightron S Tacs are well proven, excellent scopes for NV and the 2.5-17.5 x 56 is also a top notch day scope. I have been impressed with the new Hawke Endurance WA 4-16x50 LR dot ret, good in the day and so far working well with my old Ward 700.
