Re: Short Thermal Clip - Barn Owl Hunting

Awesome footage, I take my thermal everywhere with me now as its amazing what we miss at night. Though a week ago whilst out around the golf courses I thought I came across a human body, legged it up to the heat source with phone ready in hand to dial 999 to find out it was ash from a previous fire...

Re: repeatablle mounting xq50

If your using the supplied mount get the pulsar 1nm torque wrench (about £15) to tighten the bolts also ensure you mount it in the same place each time pushing the scope lightly in the forward direction when tightening and you will have RTZ each time. I had a good test with mine on 3 rifles last wee...

Call vosa in, show them the fail sheet and tell them the tester offered £150 as it was scrap effectively. They'll be very interested.
Yes do what he says. That will give them a good kick in the nuts.

Re: Pill Life

The spring or centre piece on the back of the pill (driver) is normally positive. What pill do you have and are you using a 1 or 2 battery torch?

Re: Dovetail to weaver converters

I have a hawke dovetail to weaver adaptor on my air rifle and rimmy, works a treat and return to zero with apex is almost guaranteed. Paid about £25 for it.

Re: Howa 1500 in .223?

OK, I'm not playing anymore! Wasted the day messing about with it, tried all sorts, totally frustrated. Got the .308 out, one shot, centre of the bull, thank god for that. So tomorrow I'm popping the combo back to the gun shop and see how they fair. Will report back with findings . Thank you all ag...

Re: Howa 1500 in .223?

If its the standard Hogue stock without the aluminium insert , more than likely to be your problem , know of 3 rifles in 243 had poi issues with cheap hogue stock , 2 of them now swopped to a Boyds , the other a nice walnut job , solved the problem straight off ! Yes your right if he has the houge ...
