Why does he want to sell it so soon ?

As far as I am aware the warranty only applies to first purchaser too.

Sounds buggered , mine wouldn't focus the crosshair above 7x mag and have spoken to other folk who have the same issue but at different magnification. The front focus seals can also fail , a wee test is to look through the scope at something 300 yards or so away and try moving the front ring up and ...

I havnt actually tried them but if you contact Carl @nightvisiongear he will let you know. I use the "light in a box" method with my tubed NV .

With a friend's pulsar digital it is done during the day just shooting at a target.

I have a new ward 800L gathering dust in the cupboard as it doesn't work with my march scope , the picture is really pretty rubbish .

If you have a look at this youtube video and at the very beginning the picture has dark lines through it , if you imagine the lines to be permanently there you can get an idea of what the bad ones are like . I think all of them very occasionally show the lines randomly.
