I looked at the belomo loupe and they are nice. However, I think they will have very little eye relief to obtain the listed magnification. I think they will work like lightmesser's lens: good magnification with short eye relief.

I was so excited to try these settings. No sooner than I finished the settings and the camera stopped putting out video signal and started a high pitch noise.

Now to troubleshoot the camera or order another.....

The lens is glued, but if you out your wrench around the lens and hold the camera in your hand, you should be able to get it off with not much issue.

Is the throw with an sfh4715as not sufficient? What is your goal with more throw?

Check out sedstar's old posts on lens combos for it lights. It might be interesting to you.
