Good question I bought some that were 14mm long but I thought they were to long..but found a stainles one in my bag of bits and that was a smidge smaller but I still used a washer...so I cant be sure of correct lengh but if poppy mae is reading this he will jump in. Since I have moved mine forwad and replaced with stainles bolts and 3 screws in base mount it seem ok at the moment had a 200yds fox last nigh bullet hole was where I put it.. you need M4 40mm long..got mine of flea bay
I used the same nut from the QR £2.69 for 10.

Since I have changed my quick releases to bolts and moved scope forward because I was haveing the same problems and been advised to zero with the IR mounted by the lads I am doing much better right and left on two cubs last night 140 yds witth no target shooting before hand..bullet placement was bob...

Yes a lot to be said for the home loads especialy when your running low on amo just go make some more, not like me running around and phoneing shops ...may be one day eh😉

Oh Mikes..yerr local to me he was a bit short in stock last week said he had some norma comeing in so will ring him this week been on them superformance but ready for a change .

Mine is Remington 700 Vssf 11 22.250 1/14 twists I was useing superformance but I want to calm things down a bit 2 gunshops round here but they seem to not have much choice ..my mate was on federals them with green tip and the groupeing was perfect he has got remy 700 22.250....so yea time fir a cha...

Poppy, nothing wrong with that nice tight group on head...mine would not do that useing hornaday 50g vmax need to try some Federal as well ..what do you get on with poppy.

Update on my zero prob from other thread, since moveing my scope forward and removeig quick release mount for stainlees bolts . Went out last night and had a zero session but it was one of them sessions where it was unconclusive if you know what I mean mm not sure? Need to see where it lands on targ...
