Re: Which WDV800 the 12mm or 16mm ?

Hi Paul, I would go for the 800L. This has a little bit of built in magnification that helps with finer reticules and means you can use a little less magnification on the day scope to get the end result. Using less magnification on the day scope increases the transmission of IR so you get a performa...

Hi Paul,

What day scopes have you got and what magnifications do you like to shoot on?

Cheers

Re: warden adder

Here is a little bit of filming with the adder , this was the first time out with it so it will probably get better with a bit of fine tweaking and actually putting it on straight  , the scope is a bushnell legend 5-15x40. https://vimeo.com/270936635 https://vimeo.com/270936749 Very sharp! Hi All, Many thanks for the support. Obviously there is nothing we can really do about what a Chinese trader is selling from his online night vision and gardening products emporium via Chinese market place websites. It is a bit unfortunate though that there are already UK 'trader...

Re: Blacksun ruby ranger issue

It is 'technically' possible to make them perfect. It involves going through a metre or so of the reel with a jewellers loupe to hand pick the odd perfect LED and then doing the same again after they have come out of the reflow oven to select the perfect survivors. t's so time consuming, it'...

Re: Warden Adder Scopecam

Hi All,

Here's a bit of test footage on a fixed focus scope.

S&B 3-12x50 set on 3x to get enough depth of field for the focus which is 6x on the unit and again able to be boosted with digital magnification.

Perfectly useable from 30-250 yards.

Re: Warden adder

Hi Pav, Thanks for the review. That's what we need...normal just 'stick it on what you have' performance. The built in IR does focus via push pull on it's bezel. I've also found it boosts performance when using an external IR to use the built in as well if you need to push the range even f...

Will it make the 800 go on the back shelf then? As if this is as good as it seems why would people buy the 800 or is the 800 still better?
Hi Chris,

Have read back for the comparison.

They are different units, but can achieve similar results.

Re: photon RT zero

Bongo,

It sounds as though you need a 20MOA rail to bring the Y back into the centre when zeroed.
