Re: Cross hair position using an Addonite

Hi, i am getting confused now. The Addonight reticle keeps getting mentioned, but surely it doesn't have one, at least mine doesn't. What you see is the scopes crosshairs and it is this image that you are centralising on the screen. The mode in the menu screen is "Reticle Centre Position Adjustment"...

Re: Cross hair position using an Addonite

Hi, agree with all that has been said about positioning the clamp, but nobody has mentioned that there is a ccrosshair centralising software feature in the menu set up which you can use easily to adjust the apparent position of the cross hairs vertically and horizontally.

Re: Can anyone identify this component?

Sorry chaps, keep submitting multiple posts, press the button, nothing seems to happen, so press it again.
Thanks, that farnell component looks remarkably similar. I'll put up another hopefully better picture, see what you think.

Re: Can anyone identify this component?

There looks to be 5 pins as far as i can see, 3 pins together as you can see on the right of the component in the pic, and then one bigger one on each side, . You can see one in the pic, and there is a corresponding one on the other side. I have a feeling that the 2 big ones might be just mounting p...

Ludicrous Lumens

Ho, anybody tried one of their 820nm t38 ir illuminators? Seem good value at £29.99. I have a little Deben Tracer that i have put a Black Sun 2 pill in, but it doesn't do much with the CRS Addonight, as the onboard illuminator is more powerful. Wondered if the ludicrous t38 would do better?

Re: Can anyone identify this component?

Thanks for the replies. Don't think the shaft is bent, i think it is just the picture . Whatever, it seems to be broken anyway. Yes, rotary encoder sounds like it, i knew someone would know what it was called. I'll take the top off again and have look at the pin out and post again. Had a quick look ...
