Re: Pan and tilt

Thanks for that Bruce! Only want it for at most a thermal riflescope so nothing too heavy. Thinking about it my ptz cameras move much faster and smoother than The Hague so can see how cctv pan and tilts are the way to go. Thing I like about The Hague is I use it off a tripod so just clip it to the t...

Pan and tilt

What’s the best or best affordable pan and tilt for roof mounting? Got a Hague at the moment which in fairness has lasted well except for going through a few cables and remotes. Could do with something a bit quicker and a little bit more elevation but before someone tells me go for a light force han...

Re: Pulsar XD75 accuracy issues?.

Just looked back at an old video and the large black + covers too much of the target at range which is why I changed. I also found it a faff zooming in and out and found the pip giving you that bigger fov for initial spotting and then just looking up for the shot suited me best.

Re: Pulsar XD75 accuracy issues?.

I can't tell you how different XD75's compare as I've never looked through another. I do have a guide 518 and I prefer the pulsar pic because it pick's out the background better. However I've heard of people who've had replacements and say the new unit's are better so there could quite well be sligh...

Re: Pulsar XD75 accuracy issues?.

I regularly use an XD75 and 200yrds shots are no problem. I can believe someone shot one at stupid range because you can see them at stupid range. I have not shot a fox over 300yrd with the xd75 but regularly shoot to 250 and over. As with anything I’d rather have it 100 or 150 but sometimes needs m...

Re: Ooh, new shooting truck

Rod, update on this...well, not your shooting truck but the awning...the awning is absolutely awesome! It's endured some real rough outings. I've outgrown the stone weights and invested in two tent guidelines and two tent pegs. With the guidelines attached to the top bar and fixed to the ground with...

Re: Ooh, new shooting truck

It came out spot on Rod! How the heck you came up with it being so precise from my mumbled uncreative brief is beyond me   The more I use it the more pleased I am. I've modified it now so your not having all the credit anyway  ...... I place a metal bar across the front ...
