Re: Clives digiceptor

Any ballistic calculator will give you the theoretical POIs at different distances for different scope heights. I use this one http://www.shooterscalculator.com/ballistic-trajectory-chart.php For the numbers from an existing user to be valid for your set up, they'd have to be shooting and identical ...

Re: ADDONIGHT

Glad to hear that.
I must admit to having had a look inside mine and was pleasantly surprised by the build quality.
PS - it went back together easily and worked perfectly

Re: T50 IR

Pretty sure it would have been Ian Sirrel of IR Lightbuilds.
I have one of his early T74s and it has a machined ring with a thick o ring in it to prevent wobble.

Re: Yukon RT vs ATN 4K?

The XT doesn't have any sort of digital zoom and there are no firmware updates to add this feature. The RT does have digital zoom (crop) but the sensor doesn't have many pixels to start with, so image quality degrades very quickly even at x2 zoom IMHO, using a rifle mounted sight for scanning is a b...

Re: NV Novice looking for help

The 4K Pro seems better and when I briefly looked through one at the Shooting Show in February, I was quite impressed. However, ATN have such a bad reputation for making products that don't come near the performance inferred in their advertising, plus poor back up and service, makes a lot of people ...

Totally agree with this - keep the scope mag low and use some digital mag to get the best picture.

Re: Yukon vs ATN?

The Photon RT is good, but if you're on a budget, get the Photon XT - essentially the same scope without the bells and whistles of wifi and on board recording The jury is still out on the ATN 4K. There have been a few reports on it, one in particular by a guy with a lot of NV experience who really r...
