Re: Drone Pro etc cables

Hiya Bruce... well done on sourcing the plugs for the Wardy thermal scope! Rocking horse doo doo does exist after all!

Can you get these and the Drone plugs in 90 degree config too?

Cheers

Re: mk1 meteor

Might have one of each upstairs Ray....both early / mid 60’s.

How do I tell?"......and how much are they worth?

Also got the original telescopic sight that my dad bought with the .177.

Re: Quantum or Helion?

Jamie at TJ’s serviced the shutter in my old HD38S for free last year....they seem to start getting ‘sticky’ in that you can hear it starting to struggle at about 18months. That suggests it just needed re-lubricating. It was done and back to me in 2 working days..... I think they can probably access...

Re: New member/recommendation

I’ve just been out again tonight after changing back to the standard glass on my Photon and really wasn’t impressed by the picture, perhaps I had adjusted to the extreme conversion so was a bit surprised. In any case I think it has made my mind up for me. G’Morning Northam, Welcome to the forum :th...

Re: IR mounts to scope

I’ve gone round the usual houses on torch mounts.....adjustable ones as per the first post to Optilocks rings screwed to QR lever mounts (too tight to buy the Laserluchs although Microglobe have them cheaper than anyone)...... I’ve ended up with these on Drone Pro’s, Photon Xtremes and more recently...

Re: Xtreme Lens Play

Thanks Fizz, i was hoping you'd chip in at some point. So are you saying there is always going to be an inherent level of play in the barrel with these lenses, which can be addressed to some extent by using a thicker grease on their moving parts? As I say, the latest 105mm takumar lens I have has b...

Nb the bit that he’s probably not there on a Friday...and mention that it’s for an nv scope so he uses a thicker grease.

 I can’t lay claim to the Torpedo...... it was invented years ago by Marky610, he’s one of the forum’s venerable original members who had more than a hand in various projects setting us off on the night vision journey. I’ve got 3 of those TR torch extensions here... you can screw toge...
