Re: T74 IR Torch

Looks like we've lost about a weeks worth of posts.

Must've restored to an historic back-up cos of a problem with the current files I guess.

Re: Ward 800 or drone

Probably is Paul , just a bit of a price hike , looking at the photos the focus knob seems to sit at twelve o clock vertical , on the older 10x it was offset at about 10 o clock position ? Might be my eyes , if so Cliff , has it been redesigned ? any improvements anywhere ? are they old stock ? or ...

Re: Can anyone identify this component?

Downer.....

The shaft does look bent from your photo...probably beyond TJ’s facilities unless they can replace the whole board which I guess is exactly what the factory would do.

Must’ve been really unlucky just to have caught it at the angle to bend it.

Vixen Domination 2018

First two in to the vixen domination call on the Foxpro last night....vixen inside 5 minutes, followed by a dog 5 minutes later. Result.

That must be nearly 3 weeks earlier than last year for me ;)

Re: Can anyone identify this component?

Without seeing a pic, it does sound like the impact has pushed the knob further onto the shaft....it’s a push fit on the xt’s so I don’t see why it would be different on the RT (I’ve never held an RT) so you should be able to just pull it off and push it back on to the desired position. If it’s some...

Re: Red led torch

Your's is the best out there, only that it's throw can be extended by stepping it up with the bigger XSearcher head, the beam will be more tightly focused for sure. SunRanger is an idea that can be done on a T20 torch by fitting a Yukon lens to it http://www.nightvisionforumuk.com/viewtopic.php?f=3...

Re: WT1 Thermal Scope Firmware Upgrade?

Hi Chuck, The new V2 model does indeed have different firmware, but it also runs on a different overlay board / thermal module. I'm checking if this board can be retrofitted to the original V1 models' thermal module. Unfortunately the hardware used in the V1 wasn't able to support the extra feature...
