Re: Thermal Scope Advice

Both 2 very good replies there from 2 very knowledgable chaps! I use the wt1 75-3 can positively ID foxes at 550m farthest shot 330m. Had the xp38 trail and sold it after 2 weeks. Not enough mag in my opinion to compete with the drone. Too many buttons for me. Wt1 is better than the drone which I th...

Re: starlight longbow

A ZEISS diavari 6-24x56 with a pvs 14 would knock 6 shades out of the longbow if that’s the route you want to go. Move it back and forward with warne quick release rings and use the turrets to change zero. Easy!!

Re: starlight longbow

You need to look through one really. I sold my drone and couldn’t decide between a thermalscope or the longbow. I looked through 2 longbows and preferred the drone to be honest. Bought a pulsar xp38 and sold it within 2 weeks. Bought the Ward wt1 75-3 and over the moon with it.

Re: Magnification

Forget about Field of view. Buy the biggest lens you can get both spotter and scope. The higher the base magnification the better. No point having an xp50 spotter with 2.5 mag when the xq50 with its 4.5 mag makes ID easier. Don’t get sucked into the 640 sensors either.

Re: hd50s vs helion xq38f

Yes the xq38f is clearer than the hd50. I personally would go for the xq50 helion

Will do. It's ridiculously brilliant better than the drone pro in my opinion which was my previous favourite
