Re: automatic on/off

Bruce, please help me once again!
I am an electronic nitwit and most of my NV successes are the results of trial and error.
Can you explain to me how I would have to connect this 555 timer circuit to the tilt sensor and to my add-on?

Re: New display

Lightmesser, I know about the Epson 300.As far as I could find out it does not support (analog) AV in signal, so you would have to transmit the videosignal from the nv camera to the glasses. Let’s ask Bruce if he can come up with a solution here. I also looked into Google Glass at the time, same pro...

Re: automatic on/off

Thanks again Bruce, I thought about these tilt switches a bit longer. They have a drawback; they are only sensitive in a certain position and angle and you have to think about how to position the sensor correctly on your add on. Do you know if there Is there something similar but then as a movement ...

Re: New display

Try and find an RC or drone shop in your country. They might have a demo Cinemizer OLED and let you try it.
You need to solder a 4 pole jack plug on your video lead. Pinout: 1= GND, 2= VID

Re: automatic on/off

Thank you Bruce.
Would something as simple as

Re: New display

Lightmesser, the Zeiss glass lenses in Cinemizer make all the difference and so does the option to adjust to each eye individually, and so do the OLED screens in Cinemizer OLED. It is like comparing a cheap Tasco to a high end Zeiss scope. I have nod added VXR but It is still in my mind. I heard the...

But I'm not going to use it, I need glasses, so in this case, its not for me...maybe someone else can try it. automatic on/off

Some high end riflescopes are equiped with a device that switches the light dot off when the rifle is vertical and on when it is moved to a horizontal position, to save energy from the battery. In the old days these were mercury switches but it must be something electronic nowadays. I can't remember...
