Only x5 optical mag and an HD sensor, it doesn't look good from where I am sitting.

Sorry one more question, have you tried removing the scope and refitting it to see if it retains zero? In a perfect world it would be great to swap between a day scope and a NV scope without the need to keep checking zero in them. Personally I don't do this as mine stays on one rifle all the time, ...

Sorry but I have never used a Photon so I can't really help there.

All I can say it the Drone is the best digital scope I have ever used bar none and will do all you need and more.
