Re: NiteSite Feedback

Having watched one in use the other night I'd put forward an idea of an NS200 XL version: Xtended Lens. Well it sounds more Xciting than EL don't it? :D As I see it at the moment both units are made to accomodate close range ratting for eg, which results in a very small image 150 yards away. I'd say...

Re: Li-ion batterys from China

I have two battery packs from HK/China - a li-poli and a li-ion. The chargers that are supplied with them are supposed to be 'smart chargers, but IME seem to be only slightly smart. A part depleted charge is still indicating it's charged - showing the green LED. Both have overcharging protection so ...

Re: N-550 Doublers.

Aha - I probably got the wong end of the stick George because I'm thinking of a very short lens that screws to the lens objective, I think, like the ones I think I saw fitted to the objective of a N550.

I'll try to find an example of what I mean.

Re: N-550 Doublers.

Forgot about 'converters' :| I used them with my Canon DSLR and lenses. Sounds like that shop that sells the secondhand stuff, in the high street :) George Oh, it was some photography forum I read it on but dunno which. :o Is that a case of lens converters not being what I thought they were George ...

Re: Sharing idears.

Now I've had my rest...

Sorry guy's, I forgot to put a cheeky grin after the sinner bit and took the accusation of not sharing ideas a bit too personally and got a bit caustic about it.

I could and should have chided gravel a bit more diplomatically.

Re: Sharing idears.

If you can't see the jokey part of 'sinner I don't hold much hope for you bud. You seem to have a sense of humour failure in addition to falsely claiming members don't share information on homebuilds etc. I suggest once again that you read the forum posts that were made while you wern't here rather ...

Re: N-550 Doublers.

I had a quick Google for a 'doubler' in case the 50mm tv lens won't get fine enough for the 'Watec Dedicated" project I'm planning to have a go at. I think they might actually be called converters? I couldn't find out how to get one for a specific thread size (I might want one for that 50mm TV lens ...
