I'v seen camo that uses cameras and screens before. Wonder if this is a version of that?

Seems a bit too good to be true though eh

It's a green screen .... take a picture of a static thing and it can be superimposed on a green screen/cloth using video imaging techniques - it's what the weather guys use on TV

I thought that at first but if you look at his cloth there are little 'things' on it that i thought might be cameras

Unless of course it is just a gag and its a green screen lol

It's made of specific light refractive Meta-Materials, in nano-sized dimensions that's smaller than the shortest visible light wavelength (shorter than 400 nm), the materials are designed and manufactured in a way to bend light rays and deflect it's direction so many times in very little deferent degrees smoothly away from the centre of the cloak, to path through its right and left sides parts, skipping the man in the centre and travel past him to hit what's ever behind, then reflects back through the same path in the cloak back to the observer's eye (or the camera filming the scene), gathering the images of the sight behind the man and making him "see through".

What's more important than camouflage is that Meta Material structures on various scales can be used to re-direct any kind of waves and materials, like sound, air, water... etc. The thing that can have huge impact on the future of science, medicine, aerodynamics, weather control, energy...etc

The Story

It all started by the Russian physicist Victor Georgievich Veselago in the 60's at the times of the USSR, it's said that the physics comity (or authority) turned his study down, acusing him of using unrealistic subjects to get a paper degree.

In the 90's, British professor Sir John Pendry was searching for making the perfect lens, a lense that can deal with materials smaller than vissible light wavelength, the thing glass lenses can't do, and found Victor Veselago's study and was fascinated by it, he further researched and developed the concept using what science provided at the time, he informed Veselago with his new findings who was very happy with.
But it remained just a study until one day Pendry was invited to science gathering in the USA and was asked him to speake about something outstanding, infact encouraged to say anything outstanding, so he got confidence to speak about his research, silence struck the room and the rest is history. One of the talented Professors in the room David Smith approached Pendry and asked him to collaborate with him and his collage team to work on the study to make it into real life, which he was happily granted.

A Chinese student (Now the owner of Alibaba, Aliexpress..etc) who came to study under Professor David Smith at Duke univesity, is now accused of stealing the research by taking pictures of all the prototypes actual dimensions, stealing the whole thing back to China. The US government (Under saviour Trump) is suing him and the Chinese government. They denied the charges.
