When I log on to the new posts page, I often see the icon that is furtherest to the left, below 'topics', have moving lines. This is regardless of the icon colour - so it doesnt matter if I have read it or not.
Does that mean someone is currently reading it? Or writing a post? - or what?
And the red star - wassat? Just curious like.

Heyup Dave.
I think the red star appears only if you've contributed to that thread and the scrolling bars seems to be if a thread gets to 3 pages or longer.
Might be wrong.
