Re: auto login not working
It's a security feature that we have very little control over and is to keep the site secure,it keeps unwanted idiots hacking members accounts and causing mayhem like has happened on other sites.
It works in conjunction with the browser you are using and will kick in more often if you are using different devices to log in,to be honest I use three different devices and sometimes have to renter user name and password but it's seconds and doesn't bother me.
Sorry if it annoys some of you but the last thing we want on the site are hackers or such like, Facebook is one place that suffers or at least did from hacked accounts.

Re: auto login not working
Thanks for the heads up Geoff - I've been wracking my brain to the point of asking my PC aware brother to come over and check things out for me.
Its strange that I've not had the issue for months and yet had so many in the last few days - several times a day. I only use my desktop PC for browsing
if that makes any difference but I'll not worry about it now.

Dave there are quite a few decent progams that remember your passwords and user names securely,I will talk to John and add links if I can over the weekend.
