Hi all, newbie to the forum, just got my first permission with plenty of rabbits, been using the torch but they seem quite spooked of the light so thinking NV might be the way to go.....

Hello and a big welcome to the Forum lucky man having plenty of rabbits, they will get used to night vision as well especially if you are scanning around all the time they will notice the faint glow from your IR, when I scan I use a spotter and scan very slowly to locate my quarry use field craft to get in position then turn on NV and IR and shoot

yes the beam is invisible but the LED has a red glow so as you know movement is the key to all prey a static red light wont attract much attention but one waving all over the place will HTH
