It would be nice to have a different color theme as an option.

I understand that dark display theme is appropriate given the theme of this forum ;-) but the new colors make it quite dificult to read for me.

Sorry to moan but this new Dark Grey background is HORRIBLE.
It makes the site almost unreadable for me.

I appreciate the effort to keep it fresh. For me however, being honest, it's a bit hard on the eyes. Looks busy, sorta like AR15.com.. Might just have to give it time... :shifty:

We're only a few hours into this, fellas, and it's still a work in progress.

John is doing sterling work and it's taking lots of hours for him. The background will be dark, however, we're trying to get a green font to try. The whole idea is to enhance the nightvision theme.

The changes aren't just cosmetic though. They're essential changes that will enable us to move forward in the future. This isn't just a colour change on a whim of ours. The old board was becoming increasingly difficult for John to update as it had just about passed it's sell-by date.

If the appearance doesn't seem right to you, then please try another browser and see if that works.

Bottom line-please be patient.

Thanks.
George

Understand the need to upgrade from time to time...

No issues, just offering how it feels here.... Without honest input, you won't know... Can't all be choir boyz..

How do you try a different browser?

I find it harsh on the eyes too but worst of all I can't see all of what I used to. Things seem to be missing at the top of the page. I can only see half of Carl's night vision advertisement logo and no pm bit to the right. This is on a iPhone though.

It's working fine on Chrome, but iffy on Internet Explorer.

Cheers
