I made a very simple dsa using a filter ring and some plastic pipe just bigger than the diameter of my scope eyepiece. Couple of turns of electrical tape and i get a very snug fit. As i also use the same type scope on all three rifles so one dsa fits all :D

I know you have seen the way I mounted mine but it is so simple and looks good as well (well I think So),no need for any jubilee clips as the rubber of the inner tube holds it all in place.

Sony DCR-SR32E fixed to SWAT Scope.

Step up ring 30mm - 52mm £3.90 from http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/300628615395? ... 1497.l2649
Camera Lens Adapter Tube 52mm £5.97 From http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/250475822818? ... 1497.l2649
Pieces Of Rubber Cycle Inner Tube Free (had some in my shed
Insulation tape, any colour under the tube all I had was red :) .

hi ratter does your camera dcr-32e have a rear viewfinder to look through or do you have to use the big LCD screen...thanks...

there are a few different methods of making a DSA for your camcorder but this is how i made mine.

i use a piece of plastic pipe for the body some slices of pipe cut to use as shims and a macro filter set of four rings these come with lenses which i remove to leave just the rings which screw together to form a short tube (you may need a stepup ring also depending on the thread size in the camcorder's lens)
the short tube that is made is clamped into the plastic pipe using the shims where needed and electrical tape to pack out to get a good tight fit then do same to fit the other end to the scope.
the cam then screws onto the filter threads which are left sticking out of the pipe.

hope this helps and makes sense if you need any more info get in touch

here's the pics of the DSA shown in steps from all the pieces to fitted to my gun
