I use a Cobra Merlin with DSA. This is used with my .243 & 22.250. The only problemn is that the Cobra only works at it's best with a parallax adjustable scope. The two scopes on the above rifles are fixed parallax, so this means that I have to change the scopes everytime I use the NV, which is not that often. I replace the scopes with Hawke ones, which, for my use, are good enough. I don't have any problems with re -zeroing either, providing the scopes are taken off/put back on in exaclty the same position.

Steve.

Anyone using a PVS 14 or mini 14 on a Bushnell Elite 6500?

Have a word with Bangbang off here, don't know what mono he uses but has used a 6500 in the past.
I've used the 4200(6-24X50) and would regard it as a good all round scope, good in daylight, not bad at dusk and quite useable with a PVS-14.
The tool driving this vehicle is removed at night. Sometimes.

Ive just set up my PVS14 on the back of a Bushnell Elite 6500 2.5 - 16 x42 adn tis working great. Did wonder if the smaller OBJ would be an issue but getting good light transmission through it and a nice full picture of the ret and great FOV even at 8x mag.

That's good to hear I've just ordered the above scope for use with an add on :) except it's the 50mm because there's a foot gap between the scope and my barrel on my mounts otherwise  .

I use Hawke Nite Eyes with 50mm objectives. Works well with my off the shelf kit!
