rotary switch

Post by reindeer » 12 Mar 2018, 18:49

I use a simple mini push switch to turn my DIY spotter on/off. I am not satisfied with it because functioning is not consistent.
I am looking for a small rotary switch with just two positions; on/off, but I can't find one. I remember having seen them on professional tubed NV.
Does anyone know where to look? I do not want a toggle switch because they are not protected against switching on accidentally and most of them are not silent.

RS Components have quite a few to choose from.

This is one I was planning to use a while back, but it was just a little too long for the build...

I used this instead...
