This is a build I did four or five years ago. Unfortunately I really do not remember the parts that went into it. Probably pointless to list the parts from so long ago anyway, technology seems to be much better now.
The fore grip has support for I guess a flashlight, but a bullet cam worked. I had enough room for a Lipo battery, charging circuit, a max7456 board from sparkfun and a small FPV transmitter.
The glasses are Active-I, I do not think they are made anymore. I stripped most of the guts out of the glasses and hooked a really small FPV receiver to the display.
The whole thing worked fairly well at night with a ir torch. Daytime did not work at all, the display was not bright enough in direct sunlight.
I am going to tear it all apart and start over with new components.
Show and tell for your homebrew nv projects. DIY 'Stickies' here too.

Luckily the driver board for the monocular was in the big part of the monocular with just video, ground and power running into the glasses.
