Dash cam conversion
Anyone though about or may have already done a dash cam conversion to a rifle scope? Whilst looking at my current E700 add on with bulky screen I got thinking about integrated cameras and screens. There are a few dash cams with ir for use in a car, many also record at 1080p. Anyone looked at these to see if the image sensor is any good for night vision with a scope?
Re: Dash cam conversion
It's been tried. Results are terrible and much the same applies to web cams.

Hi,
I did a lot of searching and only found a few that were so so, usable but you get what you pay for. There was a guy on FB who got usable vision up to 50 yards so if thats all you need you can get a cheap one and mod a lens to it for under £20, it will record and may record when you take a shot if it has crash detection recording that most of them have
