Yes I have but make sure you don’t get the potting compound near the sensor or the joystick part for obvious reasons!

Your laser idea on coyotes should be ok but just like I said before, you have a double edge sword. Needing a sensitive camera at night doesn’t make it good when looking at a powerful IR laser........before you go too far with the project, do some testing first, take the camera out with you and the laser and test it on a few animals at different ranges, if it works great but if it doesn’t then you haven’t pulled All the expensive gear apart yet !

Hope this helps crs

Looking at Zenit lenses on ebay, looks like I can get a working NV-100 for $80. You guys might be turning me into a lens whore......

I don't see it on their website, so maybe it's an older item that's no longer stocked.
5.5x100 would be pretty unique for a digital NV monocular - the biggest I've seen is 60mm in a Pulsar tubed unit and most of the digital NV monoculars are 50mm or smaller.

Playing around, 25 yards, just looking at quality and contrast against a white background

I also think I have found a home for my EJ230 The inside of the tube is threaded so you can easily secure a camera with jam nuts and have plenty of adjustments.
