Question , had the 204 now for over 12 months , great rifle set up with an s-tac , also had a spare slot for a 223 , which hopefully be filled this week with a 1-8 twist , So dilema , originally going to have one set up as a dedicated rifle , do i get a drone for the 223 or put a spare s-tac onit , and use the cash for a thermal spotter instead of the drone ? which would you reckon be more beneficial ? head says spotter but like the idea of the drone , Got 2 handheld digi spotters which work really well & truck spotter, Ward 800 , and homemade units which be fair are more than capable of 300yds shooting...thoughts?
Drone is awesome - but if you have NV you can shoot with already its a no brainer - thermal spotter, its a whole new world! You can just spot stuff so much easier. Quick scan of a field, no white splodges, move on to the next. Its amazing what you see sometimes with it, and how close you can get to stuff.
Definitely the thermal..... its a whole new world out there and you'll wonder why you didn't do it sooner.
A correct grip on the butt & cheekweld is imperative for accurate shooting....but, heck.....I just like posting.
