Is it a Drone pro x10 and is it in the rearmost position on the mount?

Here is a picture of a mount I make that cures the Zero shift.

Do you only think it happens in the rearward position ? Cause of the shortend clamp position or the lens moves due to vibration ,say in transit or from recoil? Take it you drill and tap before splitting the ring ? Has this solution totally cured your poi shift ?

Yes it is the Drone 10x and in the rear position...last week when target shooting I noticed after each shot the picture would dissapeare then the Armasight logo would come back on.
So must be vibration to do that even though I thought it was tight enough when I checked it ,any way got a smidge more tightness out of it and that stopped it going off ..but dont trust it anymore as it cost me 2 foxs night before as it had moved 2 inch left.
Kevgun do you sell thease mounts.

Dave, yours sounds like a battery connection problem, check the springs inside the battery casing and maybe just give them a little tweak then try it.

Poppy, yes I have been messing about with this for over a year, but since I have done it and Zeroed just July it’s been spot on, the problem when it’s in the rear most position like you say is the the bolt hole are too close together and this causes flexing, the intermediate rail between the Drone and the mount is made in f a very soft aluminium.

Then what happens is you start o get Zero shift so start checking tightness and as we know everybody’s idea of tight is different, so the threads get stretched etc etc and so starts your problems.
I have done 4 others for people and all reports are very good.

My mate had this problem on his Tikka . Another mate copied my Mckillop mount for him and that cured it 100%. I have always said the standard drone mount leaves a lot to be desired.
