Drone pro zero update

Post by Davesniper » 16 Jun 2018, 15:51

Update on my zero prob from other thread, since moveing my scope forward and removeig quick release mount for stainlees bolts .
Went out last night and had a zero session but it was one of them sessions where it was unconclusive if you know what I mean mm not sure? Need to see where it lands on target next time out to see if it has held zero.
Anyway did leave my shim on scope (LEFT HAND SIDE) on the mount trying to centerlize the reticule from last set up..had it 1" high at 100 yds ...you will never belive what my setting on the scooe read.. wait for it H 0 - V 0
Sat on silaged field in the eve got dog and vixen so fingers crossed for now but will check again soon.

Dave using a Tikka t3 223 1-8 twist , tried a few brands of ammo, the best is Hornady varmint express 55g , then Normas , third Sakos , forth federal and lastly hornady superperformance which gave a big grouping ! So sticking with the varmint express, for now. If truth be told still happiest with the 204

Well let's hope you both hold Zero, I reload mine 50gr Vmax Norma brass 33.9gr Vihtavouri N135 3500 Fps from a 20" barreled Tikka T3 Super varmint, 22.250
Accuracy is good but the load is tuned to the Barrel
