Drone pro eye relife

Post by Davesniper » 07 Jul 2018, 16:12

Gents, for the lads who have a remy 700 SA and a drone might be able to answer my question we all know about the eye relife is poor in forward posistion but seems to be better at holding zero.
Been looking at stainlees Reids 219 mm picatinny rails
but looking at the mounting system of the drone and with the bolt up it looks to me that the bolt wont open as it will hit the drone mounting rail...mm buger!

I had my drone on a remmy LVSF. I bought a cheap long rail from ant supplies. Drilled the holes in it with a pillar drill to correspond with those in the action. I left the bases in place and got longer screws and bolted the rail through the blocks into the action. Its a cheap fix, I'm sure there are better but more expensive fixes.
