I did hear that the CZ semi auto would not function reliably when fitted with a moderator.

Cheers

I'm happy with my CZ452.

If your foxing, I would suggest semi auto for rapid follow up. Rabbit and range, go with a longer barrelled bolt gun.
.......Everyone said don't buy a Remington 597, especially in WMR! So I made a really silly offer and became proud owner of my first semi-auto.
Got it threaded and shortened to 12.75" by McKillop. Perfect close range foxer. Comfortably sub inch at 100yds. I think I had 3 stovepipes in well over 2000 rounds and they were shooting at the range where a few too many shots were fired between cleanings. An awesome rifle that I got rid of because it needed very regular cleaning! Big mistake, I miss it more than any other rifle I have owned Image especially now I have NV.

I'd been looking for a good semi auto .22WMR for quite a while. After a lot of consideration, I recently opted for an AR15 (type) from North West Custom Parts; it should be with me by the end of Feb.

Many shy away from this type of rifle, but they are just perfect for shorter range field/nv use, my .22LR AR now gets taken out for bunnies more than anything else!

Also, a buddy of mine recently had the .22WMR CZ 512, it was really fussy on ammo and had regular feed issues.

Atb,
Darren.

Thanks all

I’m thinking cz 452 or the 455 just don’t like this barrel change system with 455 I’ve also heard good things about the Sako Quad but it’s a bit pricey.
I’m swinging towards the cz 452

I recall reading that forum member 'some bloke' has the Sako Quad.

They're a seriosly decent rifle but I've not tried the WMR.

IIRC the 452 is no longer being made, so grab one if you see it.
