Black Sun 2 or black sun ruby

Hi all is the black sun 2 the same as the black sun ruby I have just recently bought a black sun 2 do I now need to be looking at buying the black sun ruby to keep up or do I hold on for a month or two and maybe a black sun ruby 2 will be out or am I getting it all wrong and they are the same :thumbup:

The ruby will illuminate further because it is more visible and less covert.

Closer to 800 than 700 I would think.

What NV unit are you using it with?
Tubed then not much in it all.
DPx10, then doesn't your BS2 already get you far enough, as far as you are likely to shoot?
WDV, only if everything else compliments it all. But you might just get a little more as the lower nm helps that sensor.
Then what torch are you presently using?

Lastly, if its a hobby too then whats another torch? I've gone and upgraded several bits of kit recently as much for the hobby of it all as any real necessity. I'm pleased I have, as the exercise has given even more all round performance and options.
