If you have a look at this youtube video and at the very beginning the picture has dark lines through it , if you imagine the lines to be permanently there you can get an idea of what the bad ones are like . I think all of them very occasionally show the lines randomly.[/quotee

The first one i had was way worse than the one in that video. It was like looking at a zebra crossing, completely unusabIe, eventually i got a good one by going to starlight and trying them in their dark cellar. Two of my mates ordered them, one of them ordered two and out of the three one was good the other two had to go back. He asked for a refund and despite numerous phone calls still hasn't received any money. Starlight are a shite company to deal with, no quality control and no customer service.

Think Northallerton shooting supplies have the dragonfly in stock or try Andy at ludicrous lumens the sunranger and ruby pill would be good also from Clive Ward at night vision store.

My Archer with B tube and Firefly laser is acting up, main unit is fine so it is the laser that is up the creek.

I have been looking as to a replacement - Starlight are saying next year and that is not great at all for delivery of a Dragonfly replacment.
there seems to be some issues around this Dragonfly and other people are saying go Laserluchs 5000,. Thoughts please.

Any help really appreciated ideally I need this up and running so I can get some work done for people.
I have had no issues with the Archer till now apart from its bulk but there ya go.

On another note I have a 100 once fired 243 factory brass for sale any interest let me know.
If you want a similar small laser to the Firefly, then our N1000AP would be the one to go for:

If you want more power, but a cleaner image then the new BR20 Black Sun Ruby would be the one to go for:

A customer is using a similar setup with an MUM14 Gen 3 and getting an excellent image at 500m and 28x mag! :wtf:
