Wicked Hunting lights

Post by poppy mae » 30 Apr 2018, 19:28

Just watched 260rips latest you tube video , using a new lamp , Wicked hunting lamps - one lamp , 3 colours , dimmanble , remote switch , they also do the same lamp in i.r 850/950 and red , pricey , but got a decent warranty and mount as well , looks like a 67mm lens on the front , could be a useful bit of kit, but at £250 would need some real time testing , unless someone has got one tucked away....

In all honesty I cannot see the point. Fair play if you use visible light still, do people still use them these days, plus clagging variable adjusters and extra wires on the stock, thats going back a step IMO.
Any AS overdriven torch with similar lens size will be better and MUCH cheaper.. You can get an adjustable low profile mount for £15 on eBay thats neigh on identical. People will buy it, then it will sit in the drawer until the next new gimmick comes out.

As for 260rips I used to like his videos, now he's just the latest in a long long line of people who's getting used to sell an item..oh look did I mention I have a wicked torch, pulsar trail, blah de blah de blah and I shoot foxes, its more an advert than a repetitive article....then the Twat Country line is dropped and its like FFS..
