rodp wrote:Whatever you do, don't acquire a full size nitrogen cylinder ! Not only does it last for years of filling, and is a more stable gas with less pressure fluctuations due to temperature, and contains no (or minuscule amounts) of oxygen therefore won't corrode the inside of your rifle, and isn't volatile if in contact with oil, and is as pure or better than breathing air, and is a truly inert gas.

And if you do use it don't tell the "experts" on BBS that they're full of crap and don't know what they're on about and they need to speak to someone at one of the gas distribution companies, preferably one that produces the blasted stuff in the first place.

Otherwise you'll get banned as well

It works out cheaper as well
will be looking into this for my paintball guns me thinks !

Skipton gunroom. can't remember how much as last time I'd bought a load of reloading stuff and had forgotten about it when adding it all up just got a shake of the head when I asked how much.
Good stock of all kinds of shooting stuff and good old fashioned service.

I get my 300 bar cylinder filled at Hull
http://www.aboveandbelow.co.uk/index.htm
I think its £3.50 for a refill (in store), and i had my cylinder tested (they send it away for that) with no problems.
There is another station just off clive sullivan way Hull that also fills cylinders but they only do 220 bar .
I understand that a certain gun shop in Hull does refills etc but unless your part of the club they are not intrested.
