have you seen these Matt ;) http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370573986988? ... 1439.l2649

Yeah, I know they're out there. We've just not found a reliable source that we can depend on and supply at a decent price. It wouldn't be sensible for us to get them from a US EBay seller just to stick our own margin on top- for the few people that actually want them.
Bit of a minefield. We also don't have a particularly huge requirement for them so it's taken a back seat really :|

p.s We've found a few suppliers in Asia that claim they have 1.4(f) board lenses...but will they be 1.4 when they turn up??

Just to put a spanner in.
Looking to do a posible spotter with e700. Interested in SURE CSADAPTER CS or C Mount Lens Female Thread to S Mount (m12X0.5mm) Male Thread Adapter.
Would it work with the 16mm housing? Or do I need to change the housing to 12 or less?
Will be using either a 75mm or 5-100mm lens.

i'v put a 5-100mm lens on a e700. i just cut the e700 casing so the whole front part was flat/flush. same with the back end of the cs adaptor. glued and screwed together seems to be fine
when asking for advice, please include what n.v device and/or illumination you already have (if any) and what rifles you intend to use them on...cheers

Ha ;)

I'll forward to the boss. We could get some in to see if they're any good I suppose.
By the time we've added our costs, customs and margin though, we'd have to be confident that enough people are happy to pay a bit extra for the hassle free, off the shelf UK service. It's a tricky one

Thanks Matt, I know that it will screw on the m12 thread, but would the focal lenght be right on the housing for the 16mm?

Wouldn't that depend on the actual lens you're planning on screwing into the adapter? I know you say that it would be a 75mm or 5-100mm but without trying it with the specific lens I don't think we can know for sure. Sorry if I'm not being particularly helpful :|

Yeah, I know the feeling...
I got a handful of torch mounts from China, thinking that I would sell them by adding a small margin but it's surprising how fees amount up. Won't be getting anymore once these are gone. Not worth the hassle unless purchased at the right price.
