trail xp 38 or 50?

Postby Great61 » 27 Sep 2017, 18:30

hello, i am very near to buy a Thermal scope, but here in sweden the XP38 is about 3700 dollars and the XP50 about 5500Dollars.

its gonna be used on hogs up to about 100-120M/110-130Yards.

is the 38 capable of this or am i gonna regret it and go for the 50 anyway?

At that range and size of target, the XQ38 is more than good enough - don't waste money on the XP models, they have less magnification and wider field of view than the XQ models with the same size lens

Or just get Clive's WT1 75-3; shouldn't think there would be any import issues. About as good as can be done in the price range.
