Bruce,

Just a couple more questions: does the XQ23V Lite use a shuttered detector?
do they use ULIS detector?
is it an a-Si or Vox detector?
what is pulsar customer care like and how reliable are their thermal imagers?

Thanks

phoenix

The XQ23V lite does use a shuttered detector
It does use a ULIS detector
The detector is a- Si
Pulsar customer care in the Uk is handled by the importer Thomas Jacks. The large majority of reports I read of and hear about sya that Thomas Jacks provide excellent customer care.
The Pulsar thermal imagers have a proven track record of being very reliable.

Cheers

Bruce thanks again. Shame it uses a shuttered detector, but I guess they are cheaper so to be expected. Slightly off subject but I have heard of BAE systems and ULIS have released a 12um detector, that in a 1024x768 array would be very nice.

I think Im going to get the Lite XQ23v.
