Pulsar Quantum Lite XQ23V vs XQ30V..?

Post by ucanthide » 28 Feb 2018, 20:15

Taking advice from forum members I have ordered a Pulsar Lite XQ23V, which based on the specs and DRI ranges quoted from various sources including members of this forum, appears to be suitable for general use. However, i cant find any information or videos that compare the two units. Most on this forum seem to buy the XQ30V with very few going for the 23.

Could someone who owns or has used both units tell me if there is a significant difference in image quality, DRI ranges and FOV?

Thanks

Daniel

I have a 30v. Have never used a 23v.

I'm pretty sure the units are identical apart from the lenses.

Maths determines the range and FOV, so the range of the 23v should be 23/30 (about 3/4) and the FOV should be about 1/3 wider than the 30v.

See my old posts and vid on the range of the 30v.

Thanks, yes I have looked at your previous posts about the XQ30v, very detailed and informative, trouble is I cant find anyone who has used them both!
To be honest, Im just impatient, I have ordered the 23V and will just test it out then do the same with the 30V...just means I will have to buy both units to compare them.
