Having had both a pulsar trail and now the ward wt1 75-3 I would say there is no shift. The ward is more focus fussy because of the much higher base mag. It handles the zoom much better and allows much more accurate shooting. Keeping it focused at 100-120 is a good idea as it helps with range although I don’t personally do this and take foxes out to 300m regularly
