Hi All,

After a bit of a bumpy start clearing the back orders...we're well on the way now and my CNC chaps have another big batch of housings for me to collect in the morning.

For those still left waiting it won't be long now!

Finally!

Cheers

I keep on contemplating making an order for the 800l .

What sort of range can you positively identify a fox using a dragonfly ?
I know it depends on which scope is used ,but a ball park figure would be much appreciated.

Or if there is anyone in south of Scotland/north of England willing to let me have a look.

400-500 yards easily on a decent night

It would be sensible to do it now if you don't mind a wait of a few weeks. After a meeting this morning with the CNC lot, the final price is quite a bit over the original estimate due to the time on the machine so the 800L is going to be £895.

We'll be updating the website tomorrow with the new photos and having a price 'amnesty' until Monday morning next week when the back orders will be cleared. Then the new prices will be in effect.

Cheers

Hi Clive.
My WD800S was delivered today (+ Black Sun IR)
Had a bit of a heart stopper, - when the DPD chap dropped the box as he took it from the van... :o
Luckily , it was well packaged, and I checked it in front of him before signing for it.
Fired up fine, - I was much relieved, as you can imagine .
Looking forward to getting it mounted and tested in the field asap.
I would not recommend other customers do drop tests. - But this does indicate rugged build quality. :D
Will post my findings when I can get it out to one of my perm's.
Thanks very much Clive.
Best wishes.
Steve.

Hi Steve,

No problem at all. They were pretty robust before, but now with the re-design and different housing material they are far more so.

Mine arrived yesterday. Went out a shot a nice dog fox I've been after for a few months.
I could see easily 250y with the delta titanium . Haven't tried on the nightforce or sightrons yet.
Only issue I had was I wasn't getting full sight picture of the scope in the screen. Not sure if it's how I've set it up .
Am I missing a trick here.?
I could see the centre of the scope cross hairs . But all around was cloudy as .
It's the 800s model.
Also when you guys try to charge the unit. Does your charger male part go right j to the female part. Or does it kind off just touch it and that's good enough. I used it for an hour and when home it was still showing green .
If I can get rid of the cloudy part and have the full circle of the scope. I'll be chuffed. Deffo better than a photon and even on 10x mag pees all over the pulsar lrfn970 I had.
