Am I rite in thinking if the battery goes flat and you have a spare 18650 battery I could change it in field Clive

Yes just swap it over like you would a torch or IR. :thumbup:

Hi Clive how would this work on some of the better day scopes lens ,would it still be a cra!!picture or would you still need a mamba /sidewinder :

I have a sneaky feeling that this will be useale on a lot more scopes.

If you have a less compatible scope (that's what I've been testing with) you can knock the scope mag right down and the make up the magnification using digital zoom without any loss of quality.

My test scope bottoms out at 4.5x mag. With the Adder fitted this is now about 9x which I find pretty much perfect. If you needed to you could use digital doom to bring that up to 18x or even 31.5x!

I also expect that if you have a fixed variable like a 2.5-10 or a 3-12 then on the bottom end, even without focus ability, using a Black Sun Ruby you would get enough depth of field for it to be very useable. Again using digital zoom to gain magnification should you need it. 8-)

Would be interesting if you could do a few clips with it on the stac Clive to see what it's like on that!

I've not got one to test with here at the moment, but it will be very good.

The scope I have been testing with and doing the videos with, isn't particularly amazing with add ons so the S-Tac should be quite a lot better. :thumbup:
