I would say so.

The delivery might even turn up today with us. Then we just need to go through it and do our QA checks, adjustments, etc.

Cheers

Will it make the 800 go on the back shelf then? As if this is as good as it seems why would people buy the 800 or is the 800 still better?

Hi Chris,

Have read back for the comparison.

They are different units, but can achieve similar results.

Well looks like Clive has brought another great product to the market at a respectful price. Tweaked it so getting the Chinese to make a product worth having.
For the Air Rifle boys this might be perfect.
For the rimfire boys pretty much there.
If it can work with 50m parallax high end scopes then would be great for occasional full bore use at the under 200m range.

The WDV have very fast ir management so very forgiving. The biggest negative is that they don't work on so many scopes because of parallax focus. Not much you can do with scope coatings ir compatibility, though the Ruby can be a help; just effects raw crispness. If this unit can do the ir management as fast and ups the parallax then its going to be a useful unit for many people. Add that it works for spotting and fast on/off attachment then thats a big plus too. Be interesting to see how focus fussy it is, the WD's are pretty great at useful magnification.
However, I also love the massive backstop that WDV's give.

So looks as if this new unit compliments Clive's product mix, something for everyone.
And his high end digi dedicated will give the full option range. I'm looking forward to that arriving. Nice one. or is that nice two?

This one appears to have the same quick release clamp as the one Clive is selling.

https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/m.aliexp ... 22305.html

And if Clive has changed the lens to give a more useable field of view, then great. I just think it’s nice that people know what they are getting, and if it really took months of research and testing to figure out the lens wasn’t ideal then he’s definitely earned his money with this one.
I think you need to look again cos I cant see the QD bayonet fitting, clamp directly onto the scope yes but not a bayonet QD.
The bayonet fitting IS the bit that clamps to your scope (you can buy them separately if you have more than 1 gun, same sortve thing as used with the Archer) the NV unit simply attaches to that, press a button, twist and it clicks into place, then press twist and it comes off,and they are standard with the units.
